Bauchi Gov Donates N100m To Qur’anic Recitation Competition
Buchi State Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has donated N100,000,000 for the organisation of the 36th National Qur’anic Recitation Competition.
The governor according to a statement by New Media Aide, Lawal Mua’azu Bauchi announced the donation on Saturday while inaugurating the 2022 National Qur’anic Competition Committee to be hosted in Bauchi in collaboration with Usman Dan Fodio University Sokoto.
The Committee is a 57-member Local Organizing Committee under the leadership of former Grand Khadi of Bauchi State Abdullahi Yakubu Marafa.
According to the Governor, the selection of competent, experienced and knowledgeable personnel of proven integrity to serve as members of the local organizing committee would ensure its success.
Responding, the Chairman of the LOC, Khadi Abdullahi Yakubu Marafa expressed gratitude to Governor Bala for finding them worthy for the assignment, promised to ensure justice for the success of the event.
