Bauchi Government Reintroduces Nominal Salary Payment To End Workers’ Groan

Bauchi state government says it has developed a new salary template for the state workforce to ensure smooth payment of salaries in the state.

The Secretary to the state government Barrister Kassim Ibrahim, after an emergency meeting with critical stakeholders on salary administration, noted that the meeting also discussed modalities of taking over payment of salary from the consulting firm Dynatech Solution, to allow MDAs take charge of salary with effect from January 2022.

Also Speaking, the state Head of service Yahuza Adamu commended governor Bala Mohammed for taking steps towards ending the lingering salary issue, saying by January, all Civil servants will be paid their salaries as at when due without hitches.

The representative of Nigeria Labor Congress Bauchi state council Comrade Dauda Shuibu applauded Civil servants for their patience and understanding through out the process.
