Bauchi New CP Pledges Zero Tolerance To Crime, Insecurity

CP Umar Mamman Sanda, a new Commissioner of Police Bauchi State Command, has pledged zero tolerance to crimes and insecurity in the state.

The Commissioner said that he has an unwavering resolve to work closely with the media and other relevant stakeholders to fight insecurity in the state.

Umar Mamman Sanda took over from Sylvester Abiodun Alabi on Monday who was posted to the Force Headquarters in Abuja.

According to the new CP, the command policing will be driven by professional knowledge guided by intelligence and strategic, operational and tactical levels.

He warned that his administration will not condone indolence from any person nor any act of corruption in whatever form declaring that anyone caught will not be spared.

Earlier in his handover address, the outgone CP Abiodun Sylvester Alabi urged the new CP to keep the spirit of collaboration and work closely with the media to always feed the media with the right information.

Alabi appreciates the self-sacrifice of the people of the state in putting their best to partner with the command to secure the state by living peacefully with one another without looking back at their differences.

He alluded the relative peace the state enjoys to the collaboration the command has with sister security agencies as well as local security networks.
