National Assembly’s Plan to Establish Federal University of Agriculture in Ningi Emirate, Bauchi State Met with Praise.

The move by the National Assembly to establish a Federal University of Agriculture in Ningi emirate of Bauchi state has been described as a step in the right direction.

Partners in Progress Association (PIPA) the umbrella body of Ningi Grassroot Associations and other community development matters who welcomed the initiative by the member representing Ningi/Warji Federal Constituency Adamu Hashimu Ranga and pursuing the establishment of the University said the move will bring a meaningful development to the education sector and boost agricultural activities towards achieving food security.

PIPA at its meeting also revisited the state of affairs at College of administration and social studies Ningi, and College of Health Technology Ningi and commended Bauchi state government for moving SDI Ningi to Ministry of higher education for proper management of the institute.

In a press release signed by the Chairman of the association Comrade Garba Ningi also also commended the state government for the ongoing multimillion Naira road projects within the local government area of state.

While reviewing the security bridge that is occasioned by the acts of banditry, kidnappings and abductions in Ningi local government area, the association acknowledged the Emir of Ningi Dr. Yunusa Muhammad Danyaya for the conduct of emergency local security stakeholders meeting as well as collaboration with the state security apparatus that led to the arrest of the insecurity in the area.
