I Write A Book On Tinubu In Hausa Highlighting Why He deserves To be Next President, Bauchi Author Explains

A Bauchi based author, Abdullahi Kabir has said that decades of unalloyed support to presidential candidates from the North that the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC ASiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu exhibited convinces him to write a book in the Hausa Language about his track records of achievements in public service in Nigeria.

The book covers a brief biography of Tinubu and his achievements and contributions to governance and politics since the country’s return to democracy.

The author said in an interview with our Correspondent in Bauchi that the book is titled: Who Is Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu? is written in Hausa Language targeting immediate native speakers of the language up the Niger.

He said the book will provide an ample opportunity for Hausa readers to see a clear cut reflection of the inherent pragmatic leadership qualities that the APC Leader has as he intensifies effort mobilising support for his presidential ambition comes 2023.

“I have a strong passion for him looking closely at his antecedents and contributions to national development across the board.

“Take a look at his contributions to strengthening democracy at the centre through politics, in 2007 he was the one that supported the former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar when he contested for the presidency under ACN.

“He did that not because he is illegible to contest but he did that show his support to a northern candidate and encourage opposition in Nigerian political landscape. He offered the same contribution to Malam Nuhu Ribadu in 2011 under the same ACN where he sponsored him and gave him all the necessary supports,” Mr Kabir said.

He said Bola Ahmed Tinubu throughout the history of democracy in Nigeria rendered himself as an unalloyed supporter of northern candidates at the central politics in Nigeria taking a toll in 2014 when he single-handedly spearheaded the merger of some major opposition parties in Nigeria to form the APC, something that brought President Muhammadu Buhari to power twice.

Mr Kabir said the book will be formally launched at the Arewa House, Kaduna on the 19th of March 2022.
