NDLEA Boss Visits Albarka Radio, Seeks Collaboration To Curtail Drug Abuse

In an effort to widen its war against drugs abuse and trafficking in Bauchi State, the new State Commandant National Drug Law Enforcement Agency has visited Albarka Radio Bauchi to reach out to critical stakeholders in the crusade.

The new state commander Muhammed Shafi’i Sa’idu said the essence of his visit to Albarka Radio is to further strengthen the relationship with the station towards enlighting the public on the dangers of taking hard drugs.

Muhammad however solicited the support of the station with airtime to carry out campaigns on the implications of drugs abuse through jingles and programmes.

The commandant who commended the General Manager for airing educative and enlightening programmes, thanked him for supporting the agency in the war against drug abuse.

General Manager Albarka Radio Bauchi Alhaji Dauda Muhammad Ciroma said the relationship between the station and the agency remains cordial saying that the station will sustain the fight against the menace at all costs.

Dauda Chiroma stressed the need for the agency to devise the means of producing jingles in Hausa so that their message could reach most of the listeners of the station in Bauchi State.

At the end of the visit, the new NDLEA state commandant decorates the general manager Albarka Radio Bauchi as the ambassador of War Against Drug Abuse (WADA ).
