President Buhari’s Media Aide Distributes Smartphones To 125 Youths In Bauchi

Personal Assistant to the President on Broadcast Media, Buhari Sallau has distributed 125 smartphones to youths selected from across Bauchi State to promote the legacies of President Muhammadu Buhari administration in the country.

Buhari Sallau stated this in Bauchi on Friday while distributing mobile phones to members of President Buhari’s media and publicity team at the Sir Abubakar Tafawabalewa tomb.

He said at the moment, what Nigeria needs is diligent information dissemination that will foster unity among various people inhabiting the territorial landmass of Nigeria.

“Professionalism among all cadres of media professionals operating in Nigeria is what we needed at the moment in the country.

“Through professionalism, journalists can do a lot of magic when it comes to fostering peace and unity in this country especially at a time when a 2023 general election looms,” he said.

The Aide said although social media lends itself as a lucrative means to pass information to the intended audience, it must be used with caution by all and sundry bearing in mind that the unity and peaceful coexistence among Nigerians is sacrosanct for meaningful development to be achieved in the country.

Buhari Sallau said the President Muhammadu Buhari led Federal Government is a human rights friendly government giving every support to the sustenance and enforcement of fundamental rights of Nigerians as stated in the constitution and other regional, continental and international right treaties which Nigeria is a signatory to.

He called on youths to explore the avalanche opportunities that social media offered them for personal growth and at the same time contribute meaningfully to the socio-economic progress of the nation.

The aide said called on members of President Muhammadu Buhari publicity team in Bauchi to deploy their digital and technological skills to showcase to the rest of the world live-touching projects executed by the President in not only their immediate state but Nigeria as a whole.
