Arson Destroys Foods In Bauchi Community
A fire incident has engulfed food items worth millions of naira, in Rafin Ciyawa Village of Ningi local government area of Bauchi state.
Albarka Radio reports that about fifteen houses were burnt to ashes by a mysterious fire incident, occurred in batches.
According to the Village Head of Rafin Ciyawa Mallam Dahiru Isah, the cause of the mysterious fire could not be ascertained as at the time of the incident there was no source of fire close to the houses.
It was gathered that there was no injury or loss of life as a result of the tragic incident.
Some of the victims interviewed said they considered the event as a test of faith from Allah.
They called on wealthy individuals and governments at all levels to come to their rescue.
When contacted the chairman Ningi local government area Mahmud Hassan Tabla admitted that the council is doing everything possible to support the affected victims.
