You Are An Incredible Leader, Political Asset To Katagum, Bauchi Speaker Labels Majority Leader
The Speaker of the Bauchi State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Abubakar Y Suleiman has described the Majority Leader of the House Hon. Tijjani Muhammad Aliyu a man of his words, straightforward, resourceful and incredible leadership and a political asset to the people of Katagum Local Government and the State in general.
He made the remarks during honouring and almanac launching ceremony organized in honour of the Majority Leader by the Tijjani Muhammad Aliyu Social Media Forum (TMASMF) which took place at Dr Ibrahim Garba Akuyam Hall, Aminu Saleh College of Education Azare on Sunday.
While acknowledging the people’s endorsement of the Majority Leader for the upcoming 2023 election, the Speaker said that he is a man of honour who believes in justice, due process and fairness, thus the people of Katagum will never regret it they elevate him to a higher position.
He added that the stability and unity existing in the Assembly is a product of leadership skills and political sagacity of the Leader, therefore he is not surprised by the love and endorsements being showered by the Majority Leader by people from various political divides.
Rt. Hon. Abubakar Y Suleiman launched the almanack with five hundred thousand nairas on behalf of his colleagues.
In his remarks, the Majority Leader appreciated the Group for the honour and his colleagues for honouring the invitation of the Group.
He explained that he so much believed in sanitizing social media so that it will be a platform where people express and propagate nothing but truth, love, brotherhood and unity.
According to him, he doesn’t support the spread of hatred, praise-singing, sycophancy and fake information on social media and he always cautions his supporters and constituents against such behaviours.
Hon. Tijjani Muhammad Aliyu enjoins his supporters and all social media users to make good use of the platform and never attack or abuse anybody because whatever one posts on the social media, will be accounted for on the Day of Judgement.
In his welcome address, the Chairman of the Forum Mallam Nura M Ali said that they organized the event to appreciate the sterling leadership qualities of the Majority Leader and the positive impact of his representation to the people of Azare/Madangala Constituency.
He stated that the Majority Leader has been putting smiles on the faces of his constituents through the constant provision of social amenities, educational support, philanthropic services, construction of mosques and mentorship to the younger generation.
The event was attended by many Honourable Members of the Assembly, politicians, youth and women groups and community leaders.
