Al-Huda College of Nursing Sciences, Bauchi, has matriculated seventy-nine pioneer students into its Nursing and Midwifery programmes.

The matriculation ceremony, which took place at the college premises, featured students from the 2024/2025 and 2025/2026 academic sessions officially taking their oath of admission.

Speaking at the event, the Provost of the College, Aliyu Idris Abubakar, explained that the institution was established in 2023 and accredited by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria to train future nurses and midwives. He noted that the college has created a conducive learning environment, equipped with modern facilities and adequate hostels for both male and female students. He further disclosed that the institution is awaiting approval from the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) to commence National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes.

In his remarks, the Proprietor and Chairman of the Board of Directors, Nurse Malandi Adamu Sabo Gololo, charged the newly matriculated students to uphold discipline, integrity, and academic excellence while focusing on their studies.

Also speaking, the Bauchi State Commissioner for Health and Social Welfare, Dr. Sani Muhammad Dambam, represented by the Director of Public Health, Alhaji Abdullahi Dan Asabe, commended the college for its standard facilities and qualified lecturers. He urged the management to sustain the quality of education being provided and encouraged students to take full advantage of the opportunity.
