The Bauchi State First Lady, Dr. Aisha Bala Mohammed, has extended her New Year greetings to the people of the state as they usher in the year 2026.
In a New Year message, Dr. Aisha Bala Mohammed expressed gratitude to Almighty God for His mercy, guidance, and protection over Bauchi State and its residents throughout the past year.
She described the New Year as a period of renewed hope, strengthened unity, and collective commitment towards the growth and sustainable development of the state.
The First Lady urged residents to continue to uphold the values of peace, tolerance, hard work, and mutual respect, stressing that meaningful and sustainable development can only be achieved through unity and shared responsibility.
She reaffirmed her commitment to programmes and initiatives aimed at improving the welfare of women, children, youths, and other vulnerable groups, particularly in the areas of social welfare, education, healthcare, and economic empowerment.
Dr. Aisha Bala Mohammed also commended the resilience, patience, and cooperation of the people of Bauchi State, encouraging them to remain hopeful and steadfast as the government continues to implement people-oriented policies and programmes to improve the standard of living.
She prayed for good health, peace, progress, and prosperity in the New Year and wished the people of Bauchi State, as well as Nigerians across the country, a happy and prosperous 2026.
