The First Lady of Bauchi State, Her Excellency Haj. Aisha Bala Mohammed (Sarauniyar Bauchi), has extended warm felicitations to the people of Bauchi State and the entire Muslim Ummah as they mark the 2025 Eid al-Adha celebration.
In a goodwill message released by her Chief Press Secretary, Haj. Murjanatu Musa Maidawa, the First Lady described Eid Kabir as a period of deep spiritual reflection, sacrifice, love, and unwavering faith in Allah (SWT), drawing inspiration from the legacy of Prophet Ibrahim (AS).
“Eid Kabir reminds us of the virtues of obedience, compassion, and generosity. As we observe this sacred festival, let us reflect on its true meaning and embody these values in our everyday lives,” the First Lady stated.
She called on Muslims to use the season to show kindness to one another, especially the less privileged, and to reinforce the bonds of unity and peaceful coexistence across communities in the state and the nation at large.
Her Excellency also urged citizens to celebrate in moderation, remain vigilant about their security, and continue to offer prayers for peace, progress, and prosperity in Bauchi State and Nigeria.
“May this Eid bring joy to our homes, renew our hope, and draw us closer to Almighty Allah. I pray for Allah’s protection over our families, our leaders, and the entire people of Bauchi State,” she added.
The First Lady concluded her message by wishing all Muslims a joyous and peaceful Eid celebration.
