Empowering Bauchi Youth Through Technology: BASH-D Launches Computer Training Program with Support from Local Partners

In an effort to equip young people with essential technological skills, a non-governmental organization in Bauchi has forged a strategic partnership to offer computer training.

The Bauchi State Youth Society for Human Development (BASH-D) has officially launched a computer training program in collaboration with the Professor Iya Abubakar Community Resource Center and with the generous support of the Wunti Al-Khair Foundation.

The primary objective of this initiative is to empower youth with computer literacy, fostering self-sufficiency and opening doors to opportunities.

Addressing the participants during the inauguration, Comrade Muhammad Zayyad, the secretary of BASH-D, urged the attendees to fully engage and commit to learning.

He emphasized that the training is provided free of charge, eliminating any financial barriers to participation.

Echoing this sentiment, Comrade Murtala Haruna Baballe, Chairman of BASH-D, encouraged the youth to seize this invaluable opportunity.

He stressed the organization’s commitment to improving the lives of ordinary individuals and helping them realize their aspirations through skills development.”

Expressing gratitude to the Wunti Al-Khair Foundation for their unwavering support, Baballe highlighted the transformative impact of their assistance on the youth of Bauchi State.

Participants interviewed by Albarka Radio, Anas Haruna and Maryam Musa Muhammad, extended their sincere appreciation to BASH-D, the Wunti Al-Khair Foundation, and the Professor Iya Abubakar Resource Center.

They pledged to make the most of the training and apply their newfound knowledge for personal growth and the development of the state.
