Governor Bala A Muhammad Emerges Among the Best Leaders in Bauchi history -Says Commissioner of Natural resources as State Marks Golden Jubilee;

As Bauchi State celebrates its 50th anniversary, the Commissioner of Natural Resources Development, Hon. Muhammad Maiwada Bello, the 1st Sadaukin Alkaleri, has commended Governor Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad, describing him as one of the most visionary and transformative leaders in the state’s history.

Speaking shortly after the conclusion of the celebration which held at International Comference Center, Bauchi , Hon. Bello described the Golden Jubilee as a historic milestone that reflects Bauchi State’s resilience, unity, and remarkable progress over the past five decades.

He praised the Governor’s administration for its commitment to inclusive development, economic diversification, and responsible governance. He further noted that Governor Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad’s strategic leadership has prioritized institutional reforms, infrastructural development, and prudent public resource management—placing Bauchi State firmly on a sustainable development path and earning recognition as a model of effective governance.

Highlighting achievements in the natural resources sector, the Commissioner emphasized the government’s responsible approach to harnessing Bauchi’s vast solid mineral resources. Key initiatives include strengthened coordination with federal agencies to ensure compliance with national mining regulations, mineral identification and verification across the state, promotion of artisanal and small-scale mining, and advocacy for environmental responsibility—all aimed at boosting investment, local participation, and livelihoods.

Hon. Bello stressed that these milestones align with the Governor’s broader vision for economic growth, revenue generation, job creation, and sustainable development.

He reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to supporting the state government in deepening reforms, attracting responsible investment, and ensuring that natural resource development translates into tangible socio-economic benefits for the people of Bauchi.
In conclusion, the Commissioner joined the State Executive Council, citizens, and well-wishers in celebrating the Golden Jubilee, praying for lasting peace, unity, and continued progress, while wishing Governor Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad and the people of Bauchi State a joyous and memorable 50th anniversary
