The Ngeil Humanity Foundation has trained and empowered 200 women in Toro Local Government Area with various cosmetology skills under its Batch B empowerment programme, aimed at improving livelihoods and reducing poverty at the grassroots.

Speaking during the graduation ceremony, the Founder of the Foundation, Engr. Abdullahi Sa’idu Gumau, reiterated the organisation’s commitment to strengthening community development through continuous empowerment initiatives, particularly for women, youths and the elderly. He said the programme forms part of his sustained efforts to promote self-reliance and enhance economic growth within local communities.

Engr. Gumau explained that the Batch B training was introduced following the success of the first phase, which recorded significant impact among beneficiaries. He added that the Foundation will continue to expand its reach to enable more women acquire practical, income-generating skills. The founder urged the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the funds and starter packs provided to them in order to build sustainable means of livelihood.

Some of the beneficiaries expressed gratitude to the Foundation for what they described as a timely and life-changing intervention. They said the skills acquired would enable them to start small-scale businesses and support their families financially. They also pledged to back Engr. Gumau in his future political aspirations.

The beneficiaries, drawn from various communities across the LGA, received hands-on training in cosmetology, including soap making, body cream production, perfume blending, and disinfectant formulation, among other vocational skills.
