The Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Bauchi State chapter, has congratulated the newly appointed Emirs in the state on their ascension to the throne.
In a congratulatory message, the State President of NULGE, Comrade Muhammad Yunusa, commended Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed for actualizing what he described as the long-standing aspirations of the people of Bauchi State through the creation of additional Emirates.
Comrade Yunusa said the establishment of more Emirates would help bring governance closer to the grassroots, particularly in view of the state’s growing population.
He noted that the new Emirs were chosen based on their records of selfless service to humanity and urged them to promote unity, peace, and sustainable development within their domains and the state as a whole.
On behalf of the union, the NULGE president wished the new Emirs a successful reign and prayed that they would justify the confidence reposed in them.
