Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Board of Trustees have vowed to work together to resolve the party’s internal crisis.
After a closed-door meeting, Governor Mohammed described the Board of Trustees members as the “conscience of the party” with extensive knowledge in leadership and crisis management, assuring that the PDP’s challenges will soon be overcome.
The governor emphasized the importance of unity, stating, They have agreed that in the Governor’s Forum, members of the NWC, and the BOT would work together, close ranks, and come out strong so that they can reclaim power in 2027.
He expressed optimism that every challenge is surmountable and called on Nigerians to continue having faith in the PDP.
Governor Mohammed also accused the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC)-led federal government of creating divisions within the PDP.
Earlier The Chairman PDP BoT, Dr. Adolphus Wabara voiced deep concerns regarding the state of the Party, particularly with respect to the internal issues within the National Working Committee (NWC) and the ongoing crisis in Rivers State.
