The First Lady of Bauchi State, Hajiya Aisha Bala Mohammed (Sarauniyar Bauchi), has joined millions of Nigerians in commemorating this year’s Children’s Day, describing children as the “most precious treasure” and the “hope, strength, and future of any society.”

In a message to mark the occasion, Hajiya Aisha emphasized the need for continued efforts to secure the well-being, rights, and future of every child in the state and the country at large.

“Today is not only a day to celebrate the innocence and dreams of our children but also to reaffirm our collective commitment to their growth and protection,” she said.

The First Lady, who is also a strong advocate for child rights and welfare, reiterated her commitment to promoting access to quality education, healthcare, nutrition, and safeguarding children from all forms of harm and abuse.

“Every child—regardless of background or circumstance—deserves to grow up in a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment,” she noted.

Hajiya Aisha called on parents, community leaders, educators, and policymakers to join hands in building a society where children can thrive and reach their full potential.

“To all our children in Bauchi State and beyond, I say: you are valued, you are loved, and your dreams matter. Keep shining, keep striving, and know that you are never alone,” she concluded.
