In a demonstration of corporate social responsibility, Fidelity Bank has joined hands with the Al-Muhibba Foundation, the pet project of the Bauchi State first lady.

The bank, through its Bauchi branch, distributed food items valued at millions of Naira to over one thousand individuals in the state.

During the handover ceremony, Malam Ahmad Yaya, the manager of Fidelity Bank Bauchi branch, emphasized that this benevolent act is part of an ongoing collaboration between the bank and Al-Muhibbah Foundation.

Their shared vision revolves around supporting the less privileged in society.

Malam Ahmad Yaya highlighted the bank’s history of collaborative efforts with Al-Muhibba Foundation, citing instances such as medical outreach programs that have positively impacted over four thousand less privileged residents of the state, among other initiatives.

In 2023, the Bank, in collaboration with Al-Muhibba Foundation, distributed over four hundred bags of food items, addressing the pressing issue of hunger among the state’s residents.

Yaya disclosed the bank’s plans for an even larger collaboration with Al-Muhibba Foundation in the future, commending the state’s First Lady, Hajiya Aishatu Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad, for her relentless efforts in bringing dividends to the less privileged in the state.

Responding to the partnership, Hajiya Aishatu Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad, the founder of Almuhibbah Foundation, lauded Fidelity Bank for their sustained support and collaboration.

She assured that the distributed items would be shared judiciously, with plans to extend the distribution to remote areas of the state, ensuring that more vulnerable households benefit.

Hajiya Aishatu Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad also called on other corporate entities and affluent individuals to emulate Fidelity Bank’s example, urging them to contribute to poverty reduction initiatives in the state.
