The Al-Muhibba Foundation, in partnership with Albasar International Hospital, has commenced a free medical outreach aimed at providing eye care services to 150 beneficiaries in Bauchi.
Executive Director of the Foundation, Hajia Ladi Ibrahim, disclosed this during a screening exercise held for prospective beneficiaries in Bauchi. She explained that the screening will continue through Saturday and Sunday, after which patients requiring surgical intervention will undergo operations next Tuesday at Makka Eye Hospital, Bauchi.
Hajia Ladi Ibrahim expressed appreciation to the wife of the Bauchi State Governor, Hajia Aishatu Bala Abdulkadir, for her continued support to the foundation, particularly in humanitarian interventions. She also acknowledged the cooperation of Albasar International Hospital and other development partners.
The Director in charge of the outreach, Dr. Ibrahim Aminu Baba, said the exercise is targeted at less privileged individuals who lack access to quality eye care. He described the gesture as part of ongoing efforts to extend humanitarian services, with backing from the First Lady of Bauchi State.
Some of the beneficiaries who spoke during the exercise expressed gratitude, praying for Allah’s blessings on the organizers for the support.
