Usman Ya’u, an associate of Bauchi State renown philanthropist, Bala Wunti has declared that the philanthropist has no business with politics.
As contained in the press release issued on Friday, Ya’u insisted that all the philanthropic support Wunti is giving to residents of Bauchi State is out of kindness not plan to occupy any political position.
Usman also disclosed a tournament to be hosted in honour of Bala Wunti to celebrate his lifetime of endless support to the people of Bauchi.
According to him, “This tournament is about honoring a man who has dedicated his life to serving others.
“It’s a reminder that public service should be celebrated, not politicized.
“We want to inspire the youth and everyone in Bauchi to focus on the positive impact one individual can make when they commit to the betterment of society.”
Our correspondent gathered that the tournament is an 7-aside football tournament set to take place in Bauchi, bringing together some of the state’s finest players and youth.
The event, organized in honor of Bala Wunti, aims to shine a light on his three decades of selfless service to the community, while dispelling recent attempts to tarnish his reputation by linking him to partisan politics.
Bala Wunti has for over 30 years been a pillar of development in Bauchi, impacting lives across various sectors including education, Agriculture, Community Development, Health, Youth Empowerment, Feeding Programs among others.
