Bauchi Cleric Begs More Investment In Propagation Of Islam

Wealthy Individuals have been urged to contribute to the propagation of Da’awah in Bauchi State, to seek Allah’s blessings in their daily activities.

The Permanent Commissioner Da’awa and Islamic education department of the Bauchi State Sharia Commission, Dr Hassan Abubakar Dikko, made the plea shortly after a meeting with the State Da’wah Committee to reinforce the Da’wah process in the state.

Dr Hassan Dikko said sectarian differences among believers remained the major challenges facing the Muslim community, assuring that everything possible need to be done to find a lasting solution.

Dr Hassan Dikko reiterated the commitment of the Sharia commission to ensure harmony amongst all religious sects, devoid of any rancour and confrontation.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the committee leadership of Izala groups, Tijjaniyya, Jama’atu Nasrul Islam and others.

In a related development, the State Sharia Commission has organized an interactive meeting with Islamic scholars and imams across the State.

The Chairman of the Commission, Mallam Mustafa Baba Ilela, who was represented by the permanent Commissioner of Da’wah and Islamic Education, Dr Hassan Abubakar Dikko, said the meeting focuses on issues bothering on peace full co-existence, unity as well as the need for attitudinal change among the Muslim community especially the youth.

On his part, the permanent Commissioner Shari’a and the enlightenment of the Commission, Abdulrahman Ibrahim Khalil, expressed his gratitude for the inputs and submissions by the participants.
