Bauchi NASU Berates Bala Over Non-Promotion Of Members, Says Its Members ‘Stagnated’

The Bauchi state council of the Non -academic staff union of associated institutions-NASU, has called on the state government to hasten the promotion of its members who are due to boost their morale and overall service delivery.

This is contained in a statement issued by the State chairman- NASU, Comrade Abdullahi B. Tafida, after the National Executive Council meeting of the union, held in Abuja.

Comrade Tafida said the call became imperative, in view of the current hardship and the need to encourage civil servants towards maximum productivity .

He said the last promotion exercise was in February 2020.

The chairman implored the state government to minimise to the barest minimum, delays, and or omissions in salary payments, with regards to the cleansing of its payroll.

Comrade Abdullahi Tafida, however, commended the state government, for the 2020 staff promotion, but called for its implementation with regards to financial benefits.
