The Bauchi State chapter of the Christian Council of Nigeria (CCN) has extended warm Eid-el-Fitr greetings to Muslims, commending Governor Bala Mohammed’s inclusive governance.
Rev. Prof Collins Agbong David, CCN Chairman, acknowledged the values of compassion, forgiveness, and community that unite Nigerians, praying for peace, joy, and prosperity.
He emphasized interfaith dialogue and collaboration, seeking harmony and peaceful coexistence among Nigerians, and praised Gov Bala’s administration for treating all equally.
The CCN assures continued pursuit of peace and coexistence in Bauchi State, working towards a wonderful society.
It said they are demonstrating the commitment of Christians in Bauchi to promoting unity and understanding among different faiths.
The Eid-el-Fitr celebration is a time for reflection, forgiveness, and renewal, values that align with Christian teachings and CCN promotes interfaith understanding and encourages Nigerians to embrace diversity.
