NSCDC Bauchi Gets New HQ as Governor Pledges Support for Security

The Executive Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, has reiterated his government’s commitment to protecting citizens’ lives and properties.

The Governor made this known during the official commissioning of the new NSCDC Bauchi State Command Headquarters complex.

Represented by his PPS, Alhaji Hashimu Yakubu Kumbala, the Governor said the state government provided land, furnished the office, and supplied a transformer for power.

Bauchi State faces security challenges, but strategic tactics are being implemented to address them, keeping the state peaceful.

The Governor assured that the state government will continue to support security agencies to protect lives and properties.

Zonal Commander Zone 3, ACG Umar Bala Musa, said the new complex will strengthen the administrative capacity of the corps.

The state Commandant, Corp Commandant Oloyode Nelson Oyerinde, thanked the Commandant General and the Honourable Minister of Interior for their support.

Oyerinde appreciated the Governor’s donation of land and transformer supply, and appealed for operational vehicles.

The NSCDC headquarters is now located opposite Games Village, Bauchi, following the official commissioning.

The new complex is expected to enhance the corps’ effectiveness in maintaining peace and security in the state.
