Sa’adu Zungur University Producing Job-Ready Graduates — Bauchi Governor

Governor Bala Mohammed has revealed that a significant number of applicants who participated in the recent Bauchi State recruitment exercise are graduates of Sa’adu Zungur University.

The Governor made this known during the combined convocation ceremony of the university, highlighting the growing impact of the institution in producing qualified manpower for the state and the nation.

He said, “It is very encouraging to see that many of the successful applicants in our recent recruitment are alumni of Sa’adu Zungur University.

This shows that the university is delivering quality education and producing skilled graduates ready to serve Bauchi State and Nigeria.”

Governor Bala Mohammed described the development as a reflection of improving academic standards and training at the university.

“The performance of these graduates demonstrates that Sa’adu Zungur University is steadily achieving its mandate of producing competent and skilled individuals,” he added.

According to him, the increasing number of Sa’adu Zungur University graduates in the state workforce is a clear indication that the government’s investment in education is yielding positive results.

He further reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to strengthening the education sector, noting, “We will continue to provide funding, improve infrastructure, and support academic excellence across all tertiary institutions in the state.”

Governor Bala Mohammed concluded by encouraging graduates to remain dedicated and innovative, saying, “Your degrees are not just certificates; they are tools to contribute meaningfully to the development of Bauchi State and Nigeria. Remain disciplined, remain innovative, and continue to make us proud.

In his remarks, the Chancellor of the university and Emir of Bauchi, Rilwanu Suleiman Adamu, commended the steady growth of the institution. He said, “I am proud of the progress Sa’adu Zungur University has made over the years. I urge all graduates to uphold good character and become worthy ambassadors of this great institution wherever they go.”

Also speaking, the Vice Chancellor, Professor Fatima Tahir, highlighted the university’s achievements in academic development and research.

She said, “Our success today is a result of the dedication of our staff and the unwavering support of the Bauchi State Government. We remain committed to producing globally competitive graduates who can meet the challenges of today’s world.”
