Senator Bala Muhammad Urges LGA Chairmen to Stay Connected with Constituents

Bauchi state Governor Senator Bala Muhammad has urged the Twenty (20) Local Government Chairmen to always stay within their councils for inclusive Governance as well as Connectivity with their people.

The Governor stated this during a courtesy call paid to him by the LGA Chairmen under the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), An umbrella body of all Local Government and Area Councils in Nigeria.

Senator Bala Muhammad explained that his Administration has welcomed the decision to grant the Local Governments Autonomy leading to free and fair elections into the councils recently.

While Congratulating The Chairmen for their Victory, reminded them on the need to be on their toes to deliver on their mandate as proscribed by the Constitution for the benefit of their communities.

Earlier The ALGON Chairman Mahmoud Babama’aji Thanked the Governor for his support that aided their emergence.

Babama’aji who is the Executive Chairman Bauchi Local Government Promised on behalf of the LGA Chairmen to tun an inclusive Governance together with Their Councilors and other stakeholders.
