Governor Bala sought for Nigeria Police Support to tackle Banditry in the state as he welcomes new DIG to Zone 12.

Bauchi state government says it will continue to partner with the Nigeria police force towards enhancing internal security and strengthening the war against crimes in the state.

The state Governor, Senator Bala Muhammad Abdulkadir stated this when he received the newly posted Deputy Inspector General of police in charge of zone 12 at the Government House.

Bala Muhammad said his administration has employed a robust mechanism that involves all security agencies which helps strengthen the security of the state.

The Governor added that as a mark of seriousness, the present administration has created a new Ministry of Internal Security which was handled with the responsibility of working synergy with the security agencies to safeguard the state against any security threats.

Bala Muhammad Abdulkadir called on the new DIG to apply his vast experience especially as the state faces some security challenges in some spots of Ningi, Toro, and Alkaleri local government areas.

He called on residents of Bauchi state to be law abiding and complement the effort of the security agencies to mitigate all forms of criminalities in the state.

Earlier The Newly posted Assistant Inspector General of Police Zone 12 comprising Bauchi and Gombe Dasuki Danbaffa Galadanci has commended the state government for the support to the force.

He sought a more collaborative effort, especially in matters of community policing and security interactions, and promised to continue to secure the states against all criminalities.

DIG Galadanci also opined that a new approach to all security threats in the state will be put in place to tackle all abnormalities and assured the governor of his continued support and cooperation to all stakeholders.
