“Bauchi’s First Lady Inspires Charity and Devotion at Iftar Dinner: Calls for Unity and Support Amidst Trials”

The First Lady of Bauchi State, Hajiya Aishatu Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad is calling upon the affluent members of society to extend their assistance to the less fortunate, aiming to invoke Allah’s mercy.

She urges women across the state to intensify their devotion, offering prayers for themselves, their spouses, Bauchi State, and the nation as a whole.

Hosting women groups from all twenty local government areas of Bauchi State for Iftar dinner at the Government House in Bauchi, Hajiya Aishatu Bala Muhammad emphasized that the current challenges facing Nigerians are trials from Allah, and only He can alleviate the hardships.

She stresses the importance of seeking forgiveness for sins to invoke Allah’s mercy.

The first lady appeals to governments at all levels and non-governmental organizations to implement policies and initiatives that will alleviate the suffering of the common people.

Commissioner for the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Hajara Yakubu Wanka, highlights the power of maternal prayers and calls upon mothers to intercede for their children and the success of Governor Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad’s legacy projects.

She also announces plans for the distribution of rice to Bauchi State citizens to alleviate their suffering during this sacred month, assuring that women will also benefit from this initiative.

Hajiya Zainab Baban Takko, the Chairperson of Bauchi Local Government, commends the First Lady for her compassionate gestures.

She acknowledges Governor Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad’s administration for its unprecedented support for women in government, hailing the First Lady as a mother and mentor deserving emulation by other governors’ wives across Nigeria.

Correspondent, Zainab Faruq report that representatives from Federation of Muslim Women Association (FOMWAN) Nigerian Union of Women Journalist (NAWOJ) among several other women associations as well as non governmental organizations attended the Iftar dinner and appreciated the first lady for the gesture.
