Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed of Bauchi state has donated 10 million Naira to victims of a fire disaster in Muda Lawal Market that destroyed goods worth millions of naira.

The governor who visited kasuwan katako the scene to access the level of damage and sympathizes with the victims promised to reconstruct the affected shops.

While condoling with the people of the market, governor Bala Mohammed directed the State Emergency Management Agency SEMA to take a total inventory of the loss for immediate palliation.

He used the opportunity to debunk rumours that his administration is planning to evict traders from the market.

According to him, the allegation is mere Political propaganda from the opposition bent on causing distraction.

Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed also visited victims of a Political clash at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital where they receive treatment.

The injured victims were said to be attacked when the gubernatorial candidate of the APC campaign train visited Duguri town in Alkaleri Local Government on Thursday.

It was alleged that thugs attached to the APC candidate attacked them at a campaign rally in which the APC had denied involvement.

Governor Bala Mohammed while sympathizing with affected people promised to take care of all their medical bills.
