Bauchi State First Lady, Hajiya Aisha Bala Mohammed, has hosted a Ramadan Tafseer session at her residence, bringing together Islamic scholars, government officials, and other distinguished guests for spiritual reflection on the fourth day of Ramadan.
The session featured a Tafseer delivered by Sheikh Abdulrahman Idris, a renowned Islamic scholar, alongside Alarama Huzaifa Yakubu Sambo, whose recitation and commentary enriched the gathering. The focus of the discussion was Surah Yusuf, a chapter of the Holy Qur’an that emphasizes patience, faith, and divine wisdom.
Sheikh Abdulrahman Idris highlighted the trials faced by Prophet Yusuf (AS) and his steadfast trust in Allah, which ultimately led to his rise from hardship to prominence. He urged Muslims to remain patient in times of difficulty and to uphold righteousness in all circumstances.
Alarama Huzaifa Yakubu Sambo complemented the session with a recitation of selected verses from Surah Yusuf, allowing attendees to reflect on its teachings and their relevance to daily life.
In her remarks, the First Lady expressed appreciation to the scholars for their insights and encouraged attendees to embody the values of forgiveness, resilience, and sincerity as demonstrated by Prophet Yusuf (AS).
The session concluded with special prayers for peace, unity, and prosperity in Bauchi State and Nigeria, as well as for all Muslims observing the holy month of Ramadan.
