The workshop, which commenced on March 4, 2025, at the Abubakar Umar Secretariat Complex, is organized by the Office of the Head of Civil Service in collaboration with the Ministries for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, and Budget, Economic Planning, and Multilateral Coordination.

Participants include Chairmen and Deputy Chairmen of Local Government Councils, Heads of Administration, and Directors from the 20 Local Government Areas of the state. The training is designed to equip them with the necessary knowledge and skills to align local government financial strategies with the state’s mission and vision under the My Bauchi Project 2.0.

He described human capital development as a critical factor in the socio-economic progress of the state and noted that the workshop is part of efforts to retool public servants for optimal performance.

The Head of Civil Service expressed appreciation to Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, for his unwavering support, acknowledging the Governor’s commitment to improving public sector performance through continuous training programs.

Umar urged participants to take full advantage of the workshop, actively engage in discussions, and transfer the knowledge gained to their respective teams for greater impact.
