A former Head of Service of Bauchi State, Mr Abdon Dalla Gin has commended Bauchi State Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed for attending the wedding ceremony of his son.
Mr Gin, who is the Special Adviser to the governor on Civil Service Matters said this in an interview with newsmen in Bauchi.
He said it is indeed a great honour for him to have the governor attend the event, adding that such a gesture will go down in the memory of his family.
The Special Adviser said he feels motivated to do more for the success of the governor-Bala-Mohammed-led administration to deliver more dividends of democracy to the citizens of the state.
“It was a memorable occasion. Very memorable and that 31st of December 2022, will go into my personal history as a day that I triumphed in life, a day when I was recognised, a day when I was picked out of the crowd and shown to the world that is somebody and as a somebody who can be honoured by no less a person than the State Chief Executive, our amiable Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed.
“He did well for attending the wedding ceremony of my son, my last son for that matter. He did not come alone. He came with the First Lady, Hajiya Aisha Bala Mohammed. He picked my own ceremony among about 30 such invitations that he received.
“This singular act of him made the day a very memorable day to me, a day to remember and a day that will go into my Curriculum Vitae for being adjudged as a person that could be honoured because of the little contributions that I made,” he said.
