Governor Bala Mohammed dissolves Bauchi State Executive Council

Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has dissolved the Bauchi state executive council and other political appointees.

They include Commissioners, Special Advisers, Senior Special assistant, Chairmen and members of Boards.

The secretary to State Government, Barrister Ibrahim Kashim announced this shortly after a valedictory Session of the state Executive Council chaired by the Governor.

Barrister Ibrahim Kashim however said the dissolution did not affect the Secretary to the state government, Cheif of Staff, Principal Private Secretary and Local Government caretaker Committee Chairmen.

The SSG urged the Commissioners to hand over to their Permanent secretaries while head of Agencies and Boards to hand over to the most senior officer.

Earlier, the state Governor Senator Bala Mohammed at the opening of the valedictory session thanked all his cabinet members for the Commitment, hard work, Resilience and dedication in the last four years of his administration.
He added that their support was instrumental to his success in the tenure of his administration.

Governor Bala Mohammed who was emotional said the administration is leaving legacies and landmarks occasioned by the provision of critical infrastructure across the state.

While wishing them well in their future endeavors the governor assured that some of them may be reappointed in the next Government.
