About Two Hundred 200 members of the First Aid Groups in Bauchi State including Izalah will participate in four days of training workshop on security and community management, as well as citizen journalism, Disaster management and Early warming early response in the 21st century. which is organized by the state Jama’atu Nasrul Islam, JNI.
The event will be held from 24-02 to 27-02-2022 at the Hajj camp at Abubakar Tafawa Balewa International Airport Durum, Bauchi Local Government Area.
While expressing the launch of the workshop, Bala Ibrahim Sani, National Director of Jama’atu Nasril Islam and state Secretary of the group said he was satisfied with the quality leadership and organization of the association which added that such training will be very effective as long as the participants are working on what they have been trained them.
He further added that the workshop will further strengthen the capacity of aid groups members to use the internet and mobile phones to spread awareness and avoid spreading false information in the society so that to maintain peace and unity.
The workshop was invited by members of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps NSCD, the Chairman of the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), mobile phone and media experts as well as some of the senior management stakeholders who include former Grand Khadi Abdullahi Yakubu the Marafa of Bauchi. and chief imam gwallaga mosque, Imam Ibrahim Idris.
