NARAP Elects New Leadership, Vows to Restore Order and Coordination

By Mubarak Aliyu kobi

Mr. Lawal Ibrahim, the newly elected State Coordinator of the Nigerian Association of Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Practitioners (NARAP), has pledged to restore order and coordination to the refrigerator and air-conditioner repair industry in Bauchi state.

This promise comes after his victory in the association’s congress election, where he acknowledged the strained relationship between practitioners and the public due to subpar service.

Lawal Ibrahim recognizes that poor treatment by some practitioners has led to a breakdown in trust between the industry and the community. However, he is committed to turning things around and ensuring that the public receives better service from NARAP members.

Lawal Ibrahim has also announced plans to establish a committee that will be responsible for receiving and addressing public complaints against NARAP members. This move is aimed at promoting transparency and accountability within the industry, and providing a platform for customers to voice their concerns and receive redress.

The newly elected state coordinator has also called on all air-conditioning and refrigerator repairers in Bauchi state to join the association and emphasized the importance of unity and collective development of the profession, and encouraged practitioners to come together to promote excellence and professionalism.

Other elected officials include Amajor John as Vice Coordinator, Mubarak Dauda as Secretary, Bashir Jimor as Assistant Secretary, and Jabir Ismail as Treasurer.
