Over 400 Bauchi Orphans To Get N20 Million

Hajiya Yelwa Abubakar Tafawabalewa, Chairperson of Bauchi State Orphans and Vulnerable Children Agency, BASOVCA has said that ver 400 selected orphans are to benefit from a N20,000,000 disbursement allowance.

The benefiting orphans were selected from across the 20 local government areas of the state. The funding is being implemented with support from the Muslims World League through the International Organisation For Welfare and Development.

Hajiya Yalwa Tafawa Balewa noted that the personnel of the agency in collaboration with the funding partners are working to ensure that the beneficiaries are screened in good time.

She said already, that the money has been deposited in Stanbic Bank for onward disbursement to the beneficiaries.

Hajiya Yelwa advised benefitted orphans and vulnerable children in the state to utilize the money in order to further their studies.
