Why Dr. Bala Wunti Should Answer the Call to Serve Bauchi

In today’s world, many people live without focus or hope for a better tomorrow. Often, this is not by choice but by the will of Almighty Allah. Yet, in this same world, there are individuals who choose to be a light for others, offering hope where it is scarce.

In Bauchi State, we are blessed with one such individual: Dr. Bala Maijama’a Wunti. His commitment to supporting the vulnerable and less privileged in our society is unmatched. He has consistently reached out to those overlooked by society, especially young people who have ideas and experience in business but lack the resources to continue their dreams.

Dr. Bala Wunti’s kindness is not about publicity or politics; it is a genuine, quiet commitment to transforming lives. Many young people who once sat in darkness have found a new path through his support. In a time when many leaders forget the youth, Dr. Wunti has shown that empowering young people is the surest way to develop our community.

I say without hesitation that Dr. Bala Wunti is one in a million. His compassion and dedication stand out in a society where many shy away from helping those in need. In Bauchi today, no one exemplifies service to humanity quite like him.

Because of his consistent service, many of us believe it is time for Dr. Bala Wunti to answer a greater call. We believe he should contest for the highest office in Bauchi State, to extend his compassion, practical wisdom, and leadership to all. This is not a call based on sentiments alone but on evidence of what he has done and what he can do.

Even before any aspiration for office was mentioned, Dr. Wunti has been working tirelessly for our people, showing us what servant leadership looks like. That is why I, alongside many others, am calling on him to consider this responsibility. Insha Allah, we believe he will answer this call, for the sake of the people who trust and believe in him.

In the meantime, I urge the good people of Bauchi to continue praying for Dr. Bala Maijama’a Wunti. May Allah grant him the strength and wisdom to lead when the time comes, and may Allah continue to protect and guide him as he serves humanity.
