Bauchi Govt Task Corps Members On Peace Building

Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir has reminded corps members serving in the state of the need for them to preach the gospel of peace in their respective host communities ahead of the 2023 general election.

The Governor said history and posterity will judge all corps members posted to serve in Bauchi State based on what they contributed to the growth and development of the state during their service year.

Bala Mohammed who was represented by his Deputy, Senator Baba Tela said this during the passing out parade of the 2022 Batch B Stream II corps members in Wailo.

“You are also to know that the various skills acquisition programmes you have been exposed to are designed to make you self-reliant.

“I, therefore, urge you to further build on these skills by continuing with the post-camp training module of the skills acquisition programme,” he said.

The governor assured the corps members of a serine peaceful atmosphere to enable them to serve their fatherland, adding that they have nothing for their stay in Bauchi.

the Director General of the NYSC, Mohammed Fadah urged all Corps members in the country not to be speculative on issues affecting the scheme.

Represented by the state Coordinator of the scheme, Namadi Abubakar, the DG, however, called on them to rather visit the scheme’s official website, social media platforms and other channels for clarification when in doubt.
