It was an atmosphere of joy as the residence of Dr. Johnson Akpena in New GRA, Bauchi, was filled to the brim as friends, family members, and dignitaries gathered to mark the 30th wedding anniversary of Dr. and Mrs. Johnson Akpena.
The event, reflecting God’s love, faithfulness, peace, and sustaining grace in the couple’s three decades of marriage as invitees shared testimonies highlighting the strength and stability of the union.
In his word ministration, the President of Couples Network International and respected marriage mentor, Reverend Dr. Okafor T. Emefesi, noted that families and marriages face various challenges but stressed that God’s desire is for marriages to enjoy all-round success spiritually, emotionally, and economically.
Reverend Dr. Emefesi commended Dr. Johnson Akpena and his wife for the exemplary virtues they have consistently demonstrated over the past thirty years.
He emphasized that longevity, peace, and prosperity are part of God’s divine plan for marriages founded on faith and obedience.
The children of the celebrant couple also paid glowing tributes, appreciating their parents for their love, care, discipline, and sacrifices.
They described their parents as role models and creatively expressed their appreciation through engaging games and activities.
