The Bauchi State Commissioner of Police, Sani Omolori Aliyu, has assured residents that the command will leave no stone unturned in unmasking those responsible for the killing of an off-campus student in Wuntin Dada community.

Speaking during a fact-finding visit to the area on Friday, the Commissioner described the incident as a dastardly act and disclosed that some suspects have already been arrested in connection with the case. He stressed that investigations were ongoing to analyze available clues and ensure the perpetrators are brought to justice.

CP Aliyu further announced that the police would intensify patrols in Wuntin Dada and adjoining communities to forestall a recurrence, with plans underway to establish a divisional police headquarters in the area.

He also urged residents to remain vigilant and collaborate with security agencies by reporting suspicious movements or strange faces in their neighborhoods.

“If you see something, say something. If you notice strange incidents, promptly alert the police or community leaders so that we can take swift action,” the Commissioner said.
