Bogoro LGA Chairman’s Wife Spreads Christmas Cheer to Widows and Less Privileged Women

In a heartwarming display of kindness and generosity, wife of the chairman, Bogoro LGA, Mrs. Appiah Lawi Yakubu Sumi, distributed cash and gifts to widows and less privileged women in the local government area.

The event, held at the Bogoro LGA conference hall, aimed to bring joy and a sense of belonging to the beneficiaries during the Christmas celebration.

Mrs. Appiah emphasized that the gesture was part of her commitment to supporting her husband’s efforts, as well as Governor Bala Mohammed’s initiatives, to alleviate poverty among women and youth in the society.

She encouraged the women to continue supporting the PDP-led administration and assured them of her ongoing support through empowerment programs and cash donations.

The event was attended by distinguished personalities, including Hon. Mulki Markus Masoyi JP, the deputy chairman, and Hon. Amos Faruk, the PDP chairman of Bogoro LGA.

They praised Mrs. Appiah for her remarkable kindness, noting that this was the first such gesture in the history of Bogoro LGA.

The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to Mrs. Appiah, describing her gesture as timely and praying for her continued support and protection.
