Private School Owners In Bauchi Kick Levy Increment

Chairman, National Association of Private Schools Bauchi State Chapter, Muhammad Dan Katagum Garba has said the recent decision of the Bauchi State Ministry of Education to increase the levy which WAEC and NECO candidates sitting for the exams in private schools pay is alarming.

The Chairman told LEADERSHIP that said most parents and guardians cannot afford to pay because it is an added burden to their financial plan.

He said it is a bit tasking seeing that children who are supposed to be educated by the government are subjected to pay a high amount of money to the government at the same time.
