Bauchi Gov Launches 2022 Armed Forces Emblem With N10m, Vows To Construct Secretariat For Legioners In Three-Month

Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed of Bauchi state has launched the 2022 Armed forces Remembrance Emblem appeal with a call on Nigeria’s to support the fallen heroes with a donation of 10 million naira.

The governor also promised to construct a befitting secretariat for the Nigerian Legion in Bauchi within the next three months.

Speaking at the event held at the Government House Bauchi, Governor Bala Mohammed eulogises the sacrifices made by soldiers to keep Nigeria United.

He appealed to well-spirited individuals and private organizations to support the legions.

Speaking, the Chairman of the state council of the legions Idris Danjuma Ningi appreciated the support of the state government for supporting them.

According to him, the legions have contributed to the security of the country by protecting its territorial integrity hence the need for Nigerians to support them.
