BACYWORD Trains 500 Youth on Phone, Computer Repairs

Bauchi State Commission for Youth and Women Rehabilitation and Development, BACYWORD has issued certificates and starter tools to Five Hundred people trained on computer and Phone repairs.

Presenting the tools to the beneficiaries, the chairman of BACYWORD, Tanko Yusuf Dutse said it is the responsibility of the commission to routinely train unemployed youth on various skills in a bit to rehabilitate them to become self reliant and employers of labour.

He called on the benefiaries drawn from the 20 local government areas of the state to use the knowledge gained and step it down for the benefit of people at the grassroot level.

While thanking the Bauchi state government for the privilege, one of the beneficiaries, Shamsudden Mohammad Musa appealed to the government to provide them with more to enable them succeed in their chosen businesses.

The commissions equally used the occasion to distribute refuse cleaning tools that includes wheelbarrow, brooms, broomsticks, and hard brush among others to ward heads in the Bauchi metropolis ahead of the rainy season.
Collecting the tools, the chairman of the ward heads, Ayuba Abubakar Kobi who spoke on behalf of his colleagues, appreciate the Bauchi state government and the chairman BACYWORD for the gesture saying it is timely.

He assured that the materials would be used judiciously in keeping the environment clean.
