The First Lady of Bauchi State and Chancellor of Almuhibbah Open University, Hajiya Aisha Bala Mohammed, has expressed grief over the death of former President Muhammadu Buhari, describing it as the end of an era in Nigeria’s history.
In a condolence message, the First Lady said President Buhari would be remembered for his dedication to the unity, security, and sovereignty of Nigeria, noting that he lived a life of discipline and patriotism in the service of the nation.
“On behalf of the people of Bauchi State, the staff and students of Almuhibbah Open University, and the women and youth whom I represent, I extend our deepest sympathies to his family, the government and people of Katsina State, and the entire nation,” she stated.
She prayed to Allah to forgive the late president’s shortcomings, grant him Aljannatul Firdaus, and give his family and Nigerians the strength to bear the loss.
