Bauchi Governor appoints 17 Special Advisers

 

 

Bauchi state governor Senator Bala Mohammed has approved the appointment 17 special advisers to provide guidance and support in key areas of Government operations.

The appointment according to a Press statement by the Special Adviser Media and Publicity to the governor Mukhtar Gidado is to re-invigorate the machinery of Government and further strengthen the administration’s commitment to delivering on its promises and enhancing good governance.

The appointees are expected to bring their wealth of experience and expertise to bear on their respective roles with a view to ensuring that the state government can effectively address the diverse needs of its citizens.

The appointed Special Advisers according to the statement are Dr. Ahmed Adamu Chiroma as Chief Security Adviser, Security, Bakoji Aliyu Bobbo Special Adviser, State& National Assembly liaison, Mr. Abdon Dala Gin, Civil Service matters, Hajiya Zainab A.D Rufa’I, Special Adviser, NGO’s and Adamu Manu Soro, Special Adviser, Housing

Others are, Dr. Asmau Ahmed Giade, Special Adviser, Culture & Tourism, Hashimu Yakubu Kumbala, General Service & Administration, Senator Mohammed Bello, Multilateral Services, Isa Babayo Tilde, Special Adviser, Local Government Affairs, Engineer Mahmood Abubakar, Engineering & Projects, Shehu Wadaji, Pilgrims Affairs and Monica Musa to serve as, Special Adviser, Poverty Alleviation

Others are Surveyor, Yohanna Yashi, Special Adviser, Lands & Survey, Dr. Iliyasu Aliyu Gital, Agriculture, Adamu Babayo Gabarin, Special Adviser, Health, Alhaji Abdullahi Bello Badejo, Special Adviser, Farmers & Herders Matters, and Adamu Zakari, Special Adviser, Education

The appointment according to the statement is with immediate effect.
