The Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security has announced its commitment to collaborating with the office of the Bauchi state First Lady to empower women in the state.
Mrs. Winnie Solari, Director of Animal Husbandry Services at the Federal Ministry, conveyed this message during a courtesy visit to the First Lady at the government house.
Mrs. Solari emphasized the ministry’s dedication to supporting the First Lady’s efforts in empowering women in Bauchi state.
She also highlighted ongoing intervention projects in Sullubawa community of Bauchi state as part of the ministry’s initiative to enhance food security in the region.
In response, the Bauchi state First Lady, Hajiya Aishatu Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad, commended the Federal Government for its interventions in agriculture to ensure food security amid rising inflation.
She urged stakeholders at all levels to collaborate with the government to achieve food security goals.

Hajiya Aishatu Bala Muhammad further stated that her office has been actively involved in training women and youth in agricultural techniques and entrepreneurship.
She lauded the government’s efforts while calling for increased focus on agricultural research and innovation to boost the sector.
