Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed, has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the police and other security agencies for their tireless efforts in safeguarding the state against security threats.
Speaking at the 2024 Bauchi State Police Command End of Year Award ceremony, where he was honored for his contributions, Governor Mohammed praised the security agencies for their modesty and deep sense of humility, despite receiving minimal support.
The governor, who was visibly impressed by the police’s ability to manage resources effectively, revealed that he had provided vehicles to the security agencies, but was thrilled to see them rehabilitate and utilize their existing vehicles efficiently.
He noted that this approach was a testament to the police’s commitment to excellence and their dedication to serving the people.
Governor Mohammed emphasized the importance of collaboration between the government and security agencies, stating that his administration would continue to provide support to ensure the safety and security of citizens.
He also highlighted his commitment to equity, justice, and inclusion, ensuring that all citizens, regardless of their background or affiliations, receive fair treatment and opportunities.
Earlier the State Commissioner of Police CP Auwal Muhammad Musa has highlighted some of the achievements of the command in the year under review including 1182 criminal cases recorded in which 2322 suspect were arrested.
The CP Commended the state Government for the fabulous synergy from the Government as well as the State Residents whom provide vital information that lead to the successful operations.
