An inferno has razed down the residence of former Majority Leader of the Bauchi State House of Assembly Hon Adoji Disina.
The conflagration which started at about 09:17 AM on Thursday was suspected to have been triggered by an electric spark as there was nobody in the house.
Leadership gathered that some good samaritans in the area mobilised on time to put off the fire and stop it from escalating to other neighbouring houses before Baudchi Fire Fighters personnel arrive at the scene.
Yasir Adoji Disina a son of the lawmaker said properties of over 5 million naira were lost to the fire.
